We’re excited to share the news that the WNY Herp Society has been invited to participate in the upcoming Wild n’ Weird Day at the Buffalo Museum of Science!
WNYHS volunteers will be bringing a variety of reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates to share with an anticipated crowd of over 2000 science and nature enthusiasts.
This event presents a tremendous opportunity for the Society to provide education about reptiles and amphibians to an audience that might not typically attend herp-specific events, while raising community awareness about programs that the WNYHS has to offer.
A highlight of the day will be herp ambassador Tinkerbell, the sulcata tortoise, roaming through the Museum gallery with her human helpers, giving visitors a unique and memorable learning experience.
Wild n’ Weird takes place on Saturday, April 23rd from 10 am to 4 pm. For more information, you can visit the Buffalo Museum of Science website. We hope to see you there!
