Come join the WNY Herpetological Society for our monthly meeting as we welcome guest speaker Jimmy Holleran and his Chameleon friends! Jimmy is a long time Cham enthusiast, breeder, and the owner of Crazy House Chameleons located in Buffalo, NY.
As many hobbyist know Chameleons can be a very challenging species to keep properly and breed in captivy, from their advanced lighting to their species extreme climate differences, Jimmy will be teaching us the various methods in proper husbandry when it comes to keeping these beautiful animals.
Ontop of the presentation we will be opening the doors for the second time to vendors! This will allow at the monthly meetings, for members of the society, to sell reptile related merchandise, healthy animals within NYS guidelines, and other products in relation to herpetology. Vending spots will be decided based on a first come first serve basis, or can be claimed via message or email. Vendors are welcome and encouraged to arrive and begin set up at 6:25 PM. Vendors are welcome to sell prior to meeting , but are requested to cease sales during the monthly designated presentation, than can once again begin sales until the end of the meeting.
WNY Herp Society meetings are free and open to the public, and families with kids are welcome to attend. After the speaker has concluded, you’re invited to stay and chat with other herp enthusiasts, catch up with old friends, and meet new ones.
Visitors are encouraged to bring their herp pets with them to show off and share with an admiring audience! If you do plan to bring a herp pet, please be sure to read the guidelines for safely bringing reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates to the meeting
