It’s BYOH night at the WNY Herp Society ~ Bring Your Own Herp, that is! We had so much fun at our last BYOH meeting that we’re doing it again. If you missed our July Bring Your Own Herp night, here’s your chance to join in the festivities!
You can take advantage of our mild autumn temperatures, and bring your reptiles, amphibians or invertebrates out to meet fellow herpers. We invite you to come and show off your herps to an appreciative audience, and share your favorite stories about them.
For those of you that traveled on far-flung herping adventures over the summer, feel free to bring along photos of your journey, and wow us with your exciting finds!
Since it’s the October scaring season, you’re welcome to come in costume if you like. Show us your creative side with a theme costume that includes your herp pet ~ boo!
This laid back meeting will be a great time to hang out with old friends, and meet new people that share your passion for all things herp. WNYHS meetings are free and open to the public. Families with kids are welcome, and it’s not necessary to bring a herp pet with you in order to attend.
If you do plan to bring your pets, please be sure that they are in good health, parasite free, and in compliance with applicable local, NYS and Federal laws. You must transport them in a safe and suitable container, carrier or snake bag, and have control of them at all times.
We hope to see you at the October meeting!
